The Strategy of the Valheru
We are the Valheru. We believe that our destiny is to one day rise back to dominance and rule this land by the power and right of our heritage. Our history has taught us that we must pursue this destiny not only with great power and dedication but also with great intelligence and wisdom. We therefore have developed the following strategies to guide us and those that follow us in pursuit of the Valheru Destiny.
Our Land Preserves us and gives us life and safety
Eventually we will get to the point where we will build attack cities, stock them with troops, then teleport them out to attack our enemies. This is the way of warfare on the older servers. Eventually secure land will be of paramount importance. In light of that, our strategic goals are as follows:
a) Alliance members group together in the same area. Optimal grouping would be would be each alliance city 6 miles apart and in every direction. This allows cities to be close enough to provide mutual defense yet far enough away not to intrude on each others resources.
b) All flats within the 3 mile radius should be filled with NPCs. This prevents others from teleporting into our land. Enemies may only attack from outside our perimeter. This means long attack times giving us plenty of time to reinforce.
A strong home allows us the freedom to attack
The end goal would be to have a supply and troop center in the center of our territory, an attack city on the perimeter of our territory and an attack center to teleport out to enemy territory. In the meantime and for newer players, each of us should have the following short term goals:
a) Walls should be developed as quickly as possible. Level 8+ with 10k AT’s
b) Defensive archers should be in place, 20k archers with above listed wall defense
c) 500 ballista with 400 Transports for farming Level 5 NPCs.
d) Resources should be used as soon as possible. Excess resources serve only to invite attacks.
